Kayansel, our friend, regular visitor and illustrator of our online shop. When Pandemic started in Barcelona on March 2020, we went to the full quaranteen, she drew all our products in 2 days pro bono. And we could open our online shop with her help in 2 days.
KAYANSEL: I’m a 38 year old designer and an illustrator from Istanbul.
What is your favorite product from Funky Bakers?
KAYANSEL: BABKA!
Where would you like to eat your fav product?
KAYANSEL: I can’t wait until I go somewhere so I just eat my Babka while walking in Born.
What makes you a Born resident? What does the neighbourhood offer you?
KAYANSEL: it never sleeps and is always hip.
What book are you reading now? And what song have you been listening to?
KAYANSEL: “Attached" by Amir Levine and Rachel Heller and I’m listening to Long Train Running on repeat these days.
