BAKER (COPENHAGEN)

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team and help produce high-quality bread, pastries, and baked goods. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a bakery setting, a passion for baking, and the ability to create delicious and visually appealing products.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
  • Mix ingredients, knead dough, and shape dough into desired forms, ensuring proper consistency and texture.
  • Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor baking process and adjust oven temperatures, humidity levels, and baking times as needed to achieve desired results.
  • Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, toppings, and fillings, paying attention to detail and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of ingredients and finished products.
  • Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low.
  • Assist in developing new recipes and menu items, experimenting with flavors and techniques to enhance offerings.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Baker or similar role in a bakery or pastry shop.
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, including mixing, kneading, proofing, and baking.
  • Familiarity with a variety of baking equipment and tools.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
  • Creative flair and passion for baking, with an eye for detail and presentation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
